NHS and You

Do you have female clients that have recently started or in the process of starting their own business with a health focus and are considering commissioning their services to the health sector?

If so, we can provide FREE training programmes about the NHS and how their business would fit in to the Health Sector?

The programme is called “NHS and You”

We cover the following topics:

  1. Health and the NHS (History and Structure of the NHS)
  2. Funding and Commissioning services within the Health Sector
  3. Independent Health and Social Care Sector and Social Services
  4. Creating opportunities/knowing your market
  5. Motivation
  6. You and your business (how do you apply it to health?)

This training is just a one day programme and there is no cost to yourself or the client. We can negotiate where training can be delivered if you have a large group that require the programme.

The Centre for Micro Enterprise unit at London Metropolitan University,
assists women to be more successful in enterprise, grow their business
and play a vital role in the economy.

We deliver an innovative course to women entrepreneurs and have a 70%
success rate with women being self-employed by the end of the course.

We are running a one day a fortnight programme spread over 20 weeks
which covers basic business knowledge for example, Networking, Business?
Planning, Market Strategy, Negotiation Skills, Pitch and Present and
much more.

Our programme also works with group dynamics and supports diversity and
choice.  We focus on individual need through a comprehensive mentoring
programme that supports our attendees for a further six months after the
course is completed.
